LÈCHE MON COEUR

Lèche mon cœur is a stage adaptation of Ogres by Yann Verburgh. At the heart of this creation lies the issue of homophobia around the world. The piece gives voice to those who are silenced and oppressed — beyond sexuality, origins, or personal histories — across continents, from France to Russia, from Uganda to Iran, passing through Bulgaria, South Africa, Cameroon, Greece, Brazil, Romania, and South Korea. This work paints a stark portrait of discrimination that continues to exclude and kill today. Lèche mon cœur is a raw, poetic creation, where faces are summoned and voices speak their truths, urgencies, and lived realities.
